When I went to Arizona last year one of my must-go-to spots was the newly opened The Tomkat Studio shop in Chandler. I have been such a big fan of The Tomkat Studio for years. I am such a big fan of the shop’s founder, Kim Stoegbauer (she created TomKat from the names of her children Tom and Kate), who has grown her brand from an online blog shop selling items on Etsy, to an amazingly rich and full lifestyle website, to a very successful online retailer, and finally to her first physical brick and mortar store. What an incredible journey it has been.
The Tomkat Studio has been my blog inspiration from as far back as I can remember. It was her blog that inspired my very first all-out styled parties including Bella’s butterfly garden baptism styled beautifully by Bambi Hernandez. I enjoyed reading about Kim’s adventures and even more than that I loved her sense of style. I think that is why I really liked reading her blog. Her style was how I saw my own and I loved her choices when it came to palette, digital designs, and even party desserts.
Kim definitely inspired me in my blogging career and I hope to one day be as successful online. In the meantime though, getting to visit her store was a dream come true! I met some of the awesome Tomkat Team and while I was sorry to have missed Kim at the store (she had a shoot that day), we were able to correspond online and she is so amazingly nice! I took home a big haul from the shop and I can’t wait until I get to go back! Here are some photos of the beautiful Tomkat Studio Shop. And do check out The Tomkat Studio website here.
Beautiful white display cabinets are filled to the brim with delightful multicolored party supplies and goodies! I love their milk glass cake pedestals! I brought four home with me! Need to get more next time.
I love these glass jars! You can fill them with anything and they are sturdy with tight lids. They can make great candy giveaways or you can get really creative and fill them toys, treats, or other small goodies .
Such a lovely afternoon! I can’t wait to go back! For those of you interested check out The Tomkat online shop here. The brick and mortar shop can be found at: The Shoppes at Casa Paloma (inside Found), 7131 West Ray Road, Suite 13, Chandler, Arizona 85226.
